We support our community partners at the Bayside St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Each year the parade marches down Bell Boulevard spreading the luck of the Irish throughout all of Bayside and Northeast Queens.

Starts November 1st and runs to the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. For the third consecutive year, American Express has designated the Bayside Business Association as its Neighborhood Champion for Small Business Saturday. Shop Small is our ongoing commitment to celebrate and bolster small businesses year-round. Originating in 2010, Small Business Saturday® has evolved into a significant initiative, encouraging everyone to support local businesses during the holidays and beyond.
The BBA actively promotes this movement to drive customers to our members’ businesses. Whether you operate a storefront or a virtual business, we’re here to support and promote your business leading up to Small Business Saturday, which falls on the Saturday following Black Friday after Thanksgiving. Look out for our call for registrations starting in October.
In 2023, the BBA introduced Best of Bayside; a community contest celebrating our local gems across various categories, from local watering holes to professional services and recreation spots. This initiative allows the Bayside community to nominate and vote for their favorites, showcasing the diverse businesses that make our area special.
Nominations open in October, voting begins in January, and winners are announced at our Annual Membership Meeting in late March/early April. Explore this year’s winners to discover what makes them the Best of Bayside!
