Last week, the Bayside Business Association gathered at the Douglaston Yacht Club for its
annual meeting, a morning of business and celebration. Amidst the picturesque backdrop of
Bayside’s waters, members elected a new slate of board members, ensuring diverse
representation for the upcoming year.

This event also saw the announcement of the winners of the inaugural Best of Bayside
competition. From famous local eateries to groundbreaking startups, each winner showcased
excellence within the local business community, sparking excitement and applause. This year’s
winners are Turn the Page…Again!, Great Bear Auto Repair & Auto Body Shop, Bourbon
Street, Sacred Heart Catholic Academy of Bayside, Bell Formal Wear, DIME Community Bank,
High Performance Martial Arts, Vanguard Benefits, Modern Pet, Transitional Services for New
York, Inc., Ross Keit, Keller-Williams Landmark, AVO TACO, P.C. Richard & Son, Bayside,
Cocktails on the Move & The Bayside Little League. Congratulations to you all!

Attendees were also treated to a true networking round-robin, moderated by BBA Board
member Tommy DiMisa – where true business connections were made. Guests mingled and
connected amidst a sense of optimism for Bayside’s future. This well-attended event reaffirmed
the association’s commitment to fostering growth and collaboration, leaving attendees with
renewed purpose and unity.

Stay tuned for more updates and events as the Bayside Business Association continues to
